The Open Photographic Society (OPS) reserves the right to check, with the relevant authorities and institutions, details submitted as part of distinction applications. Such checks may, at the Society's discretion, be carried out prior to (or following) assessments . Applicants submitting misleading or false information may have their application rejected, and may also be disqualified from future assessments. Distinction fees paid by disqualified applicants are not refunded.
