FAQ - Facilities
Is OPS open to amateur and professional photographers? |
Yes. |
Can anyone join OPS? |
Anyone can use the facilities offered by OPS. However there is no concept of membership - the Society is open to everyone. |
Why is OPS free - what's the catch? |
OPS is free because it exists only on-line. We have no meeting rooms for which to to pay, and we do not normally accept material by post. There is no catch - the Society just does not cost much to run. |
Will the use of most of the Society's facilities always be free? |
Always is a long time, but our intention is that the Society's facilities should remain free wherever possible. |
What happens if I no longer want to be registered on the forums? |
Just email us, and we will remove your details from the list. |
What are the advantages of OPS? |
Users of our facilities can take part in OPS events and exhibitions, use OPS services such as image evaluations, and create personal galleries and profiles. They can also display their distinction panels on the website, place classified advertisements, and have enquiries regarding the potential sale of their images forwarded to them. Links to photographers' personal websites can also be incorporated. |
