Holography

"One of the most exciting things about holography is its ability to capture and record light from our three-dimensional world just as we see it. Stereo photography has a limited parallax, but holography retains full parallax in all directions. New digital holography has the potential of a millennium super-media, facilitated by an armoury of computing power and portable solid-state lasers making the medium ever more accessible to the general public."
