Pin-hole cameraInterest in pin-hole cameras remains strong. Indeed The Harman Titan Pin-hole camera, manufactured in the UK by Walker Cameras, was launched in 2011. The company is well known for its range of large-format film cameras.

The body of the camera has been designed to be robust and withstand rough handling, and has built-in spirit levels and tripod mounts.. It is manufactured from injection-moulded ABS and all its fittings are made from stainless steel. It can be used with photographic film or paper and accepts a 4" x 5" film holder. It comprises 3 sections - a body/frame, a cone and a pin-hole holder which is attached to the cone by a bayonet fitting. A pin-hole lens cap acts as the shutter to control exposure of the film. The pin-hole included in the kit has a diameter of 0.35mm, which equates to f/206 when using the 72mm cone. The resulting angle view is 97 degrees, which is about the equivalent of a 20mm lens on 35mm film camera or full-frame DSLR.

The standard kit comes with an interchangeable 72mm wide-angle pin-hole cone. Cones of 110mm and 150mm, the same focal length as the standard lens on a 4" x 5" format camera, are available. Users need only a 4 x 5 inch film holder and a few sheets of sheet film or photographic paper, such as Ilford Delta 100 film or Ilford Direct Positive paper (ISO 3), to get under way.
