Search Help

This search engine can be used to find pages on the OPS website containing particular words or combinations of words. A brief explanation of the query language is given below. The result of a search will be a list of hypertext links to documents whose titles, keywords, descriptions or text contain the relevant words. Click on the relevant link to view the selected document.

Queries may be formed using several words separated by spaces, and may be grouped with parentheses. For example:

●   information - finds documents containing "information";

●   information retrieval - finds documents containing "information" and "retrieval";

●   "information retrieval" - finds documents containing "information retrieval";

●   web* - finds documents containing words starting with "web".
