Fees

The Society's facilities are mostly free to use, but expenses are inevitably incurred in running the organisation and its events. Nominal fees must therefore be charged for some services, although these are kept to an absolute minimum. Fees are currently charged only for:

●  entry to the Society's annual exhibition - £1 per image image submitted, maximum of ten images;

●  image evaluation and comment (via email) - £2 per image, maximum of 20 images;

●  submission of a personal or specialist gallery of up to twenty-five images - £10 (one-ff payment);

●  distinction galleries - £5 (one-off payment);

●  personal profiles - £5 (one-off payment);

●  forwarding sales enquiries relating to gallery or exhibition images  - £5 per year;

●  "for sale" and "wanted" advertisements (£5 per calendar month per advertisement); and

●  advertisements for inter-club, national and international competitions, and other photographic events - £10 (this is a one-off payment for a period of up to three calendar months).

Please note that no refunds are made for:

●  galleries and images rejected because they do not meet the Society's standards of acceptance (see submissions); or

●  website down time (which is normally beyond the control of the Society).
